What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. If you complete the enquiry form, that is:

• Your name
• Your company or organisation, if you provide one
• Your email address
• Your telephone number, if you provide one
• The site postcode, if you provide one
• The service you are enquiring about and your preferred contact method
• The message you write

Our hosting provider also processes standard technical information such as IP address and browser type as part of serving the website and protecting it from abuse. We use the IP address of form submissions solely to limit how many enquiries can be sent from one connection in a given period.

Why we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, to arrange a site visit where one is needed, and to provide a quotation or carry out work you ask us to. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services and, where work proceeds, performance of a contract with you.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you specifically ask us to, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary to run the business. That may include our website hosting provider, the service that delivers enquiry notifications to us, and — where you engage us for work — suppliers or subcontractors directly involved in that work. All are required to protect your information and use it only for the purpose we provide it.

We will also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and are then deleted. Where you become a customer, we keep records for as long as necessary to provide and support the installation and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection. Enquiry data is validated on the server before it is processed and access to enquiries is limited to people in the business who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you give us.

Your rights

• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
