Core service

Structured Cabling

Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A data and voice cabling installed to a plan, labelled properly and tested on completion.

Overview

Structured cabling is the part of a building nobody looks at until it goes wrong. Done well, it is invisible for fifteen years. Done badly, every future change costs more than it should.

We install cabling to a documented plan: sensible route selection, correct containment, consistent labelling at both ends, and a test result for every outlet.

Not sure what you need?

Describe the property and what has gone wrong before. A short conversation usually settles whether a site visit is the right next step.

Why it matters

What you get from doing this properly.

01

Changes stay cheap

Labelled, documented cabling means moving a desk or adding a camera is a patch lead change rather than an investigation.

02

Performance you can prove

Each link is tested to the relevant category and the results are provided as part of handover.

03

One cabling system, many services

Data, voice, wireless access points, cameras and access control can all run over the same properly installed infrastructure.

04

Work that looks right

Tidy containment, consistent dressing and a well-built cabinet are not cosmetic — they make everything after installation easier.

How we work

Five steps, in the same order every time.

A deliberately unremarkable process. Most of the problems we are asked to fix come from skipping one of these stages.
  1. ConsultationWe start by understanding the problem rather than quoting equipment.
  2. Site AssessmentNothing is specified until the building has been looked at properly.
  3. Solution DesignA specification you can read, understand and compare.
  4. InstallationCareful work, clean site, minimal disruption.
  5. Support & MaintenanceHandover, then an ongoing relationship rather than a closed job.

Next step

Talk to us about structured cabling.

Tell us about the property and what you are trying to achieve. For anything beyond a very small job we will arrange a site visit, because specifying equipment without seeing the building rarely produces an accurate price.
